Are you tied into sky or you done your minimum contract......

If so phone them up and tell them you are thinking about moving to BT Vision, as they have made you an offer, if they ask what the offer is just say that between you and BT, then ask if they can do you a short term offer to stay?

If they dont offer you anything, ask to be put through to cancellations, cause they have more leaway to offer you deal, remeber if they still dont offer you anything, just say okay i leave it running till i confirm the package details with BT.........

I did this and paying 9 quid for everything apart from sport (cant stand sport) for the next 6 months, what a bargain
    Awaiting Inspiration......................

Another question I have is that I have an offer with the Virgin card to transfer balances at 6.9% for the life of the balance (with a 2.5% fee). I think it would be good to transfer some of my other balances over at this decent rate but not sure if I should try to clear the current balance first?? Any tips for me? I have a £10k limit on the card.

All in all, a fairly successful few days. Thanks again to everyone for their advice...keep it coming!

I think it would still be worth shifting barclays2, black horse and tesco.

Try the snowball on www.whatsthecost.com with the two versions and see which it best?

    PS Well done so far.

I'm not tied into any contract with Sky so this is a great idea...I'll give them a call and see what happens...THANKS:beer:
