Christmas tree, baubles and lights 20 quid at Tescos

There's a promotion on a Tesco's with a limited offer of 6 foot Canadian pine xmas tree, box of xmas baubles and fairy lights for 20 pounds all in. I thought it was some kind of scam, as the tree alone cost 25 quid, but if you buy it with the 9 quid baubles and 6 quid lights you make a saving of 20 quid, buying the lot for 20 quid.

Worth checking.

  • Were there signs up saying this? I went into Tesco yesterday and didn't see anything advertising this down our Christmas tree aisle. How long is the offer on for?

the trees were in a box, with a red promo display at the end of the xmas stuff. The display reads '£20 when tree, baubles and lights bought together'. I figured it was kind of diliberatly misleading, meaning that tree itself was 20 pounds when bought with the baubles, and lights, and none of the staff could answer, so I took it all to customer services who scanned it through and confirmed the 20 pound discount. It was apprently listed on the website as it was my girlfriend who bought it to my attention. Also it's a limited offer lasting while they have stocks of the 3 itmes i guess

  • We have another huge Tesco near us so will have a look in that one tomorrow then. Thank you.
  • do you have a link or catalogue number for this tree with lights????
  • I was looking at there web site last night and could hardly see any xmas stuff

Last November maybe last October I got loads of cheap led lights
  • I think it's an in store deal only. I've googled it and it's mentioned on another site that implied the offer expires on 16th

it was advertised in thrusday newspaper
  • I bought this last night - need a bigger tree after moving from our flat to a house. Tree is nice - has pine cones on it and the selection of baubles are red, silver or gold. Not the nicest but they'll do for putting in a vase as a centre piece. Should total £40 but all in for £20 who can argue?
  • I got this yesterday and its a great bargain, some of the dec's look a bit cheapy and will probably need some more lights (got loads from last year anyway!) but once it is all on with a bit of tinsel it should be fab! Thanks for posting op xx
