Can we only write reviews on Phones, Television, Shoes and Coffee Makers or are they just examples?

Arghh really not liking this site! I'm searching for things I want to review and it's just taking me to the shop that sells them??

I'm confused too - was doing reviews of toys but now not sure if they will count? does it have to be coffee makers/shoes etc?

It is anything that they hold on their database, so if it allows you to do a review then it will count.

I just registered fine. I dont know if it makes any difference but the OP has the number 1 in the address whereas I took that out and reigstered fine

Promotion
Shopping Epinions International Ltd. (hereafter: Shopping.com) is the promoter of the “Write
10, earn 5” promotion (the “Programme”).
1. Participation in the Programme is subject to these Terms and Conditions
2. Only UK-residents of 18 years or over, who have a PayPal account in the UK, in good
standing, and are registered users of http://uk.Shopping.com (the “site”) are able to
participate in the Programme.
3. Product reviews must meet the general Rules on Content Submission (available
http://uk.shopping.com/aa17), the Review Writing Standards displayed in the course
of the submitting process and these Terms and Conditions (together referred to as “the
rules”). Product reviews which are in breach of those rules will not be considered by
Shopping.com. Shopping.com reserves the right to exclude a participant from the
Programme if he/she has submitted a product review which, in its opinion, is in breach
of the rules.
4. Participants may not submit a review which has been published before, either by
themselves or by someone else.
5. Shopping.com can modify the rules or end the Programme at any time.
6. The Programme begins November 1, 2009 (12:01 AM GMT) and ends: a) on
December 31, 2009 (00:00 PM GMT); or b) when the first 4000 reviews (which
comply with the rules and earn money in accordance with the rules) are received,
whichever comes first (the “programme period”).
7. Shopping.com will use the participant’s site login email to notify you of the PayPal
transfer. Each participant must submit their accurate and up to date email information
when creating their site account. Please note that you will have to ensure that your site
login email is added to your PayPal account before the transfer can completed.
8. For each review published on the site which fulfils these Terms and Conditions, the
member earns £0.50 (fifty pence).
9. Each review submitted must be in respect of a product within one of the categories
contained in the list of categories selected by Shopping.com. The list is updated on the
1st of each month and is available on http://uk.shopping.com/sc/uk-reviews
10. Once a month every participant who has accumulated a minimum bonus amount of £5
receives a transfer into his PayPal account. It may take up to five weeks before the
PayPal transfer is completed.
11. Maximum monthly payout is £50. Each participant can earn a maximum of £100
during the promotion period. If and as far as your bonus amount exceeds the monthly
payout cap but not the total payout cap, the exceeding part will be transferred to the
next month.
12. Each participant agrees not to provide false or misleading personal information, and,
in particular, agrees not to register under a false identity. Each participant is
responsible for using the online information management system to immediately
report all changes to the information he or she provided at registration.
13. Participants are responsible for the confidentiality of their user names and passwords
and are accountable to Shopping.com and to third parties for all use of these details.
Participants will inform Shopping.com immediately in case of unauthorised use of
their user names or passwords.
14. Participants shall not:
· use more than one user account on the site during the programme period, even
if they have more than one site account; or
· use machines, algorithms or other automatic functions to generate contents or
accesses to web pages.
15. If a participant violates any of the rules, Shopping.com reserves the right to:
o withhold any money accumulated by the participant ;.
o permanently expel participants from the site; or
o seek criminal redress or bring a claim for damages in the courts.
14. The site User Agreement, especially the rules on liability for infringing content,
applies to this Programme.
15. Personal data given by the participants especially for this Programme will be retained and
used by Shopping.com only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only in order to
conduct the Programme.
16. The laws of England and Wales apply. Shopping.com’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into in relation to the Programme.

A review must be a minimum of 20 words and pass Shopping.com's automated language check. In order for your reviews to be published on the site, you must be a registered member and have confirmed your account. If you have not confirmed your account, your review will be saved as a draft until you confirm.
