ps3- best deal

Hello,
Does anyone know where to buy a ps3 from? The cheapest i've seen was in tesco £249 and fifa....I've heard the slim console is the new one, im not exactly a computer/console person and it is a gift so i'd like any help on this

Sainsburys is current selling the 120gb console for £199. Does not come with any games

The slim one in either 120Gb or 250Gb is the new model, it's slimmer, a lot quieter and sucks up less electricity than the older styles (ie if it has a different Gb its an old model).
Sainsbury's have the basic console (120Gb) at £199 whilst stocks last (looks like they have gone quickly) but you don't get any extras - most other places have the console (120Gb) with one game extra for £249, you get to choose between 4 different titles, or the 250Gb console with an extra game for £289. I've also seen a package with the 250Gb console and two games for £299 in GAME, again you have to choose from their list. If you don't like any games from the choice (and I don't personally) then the Sainsbury's deal is the best imho, as you can then get the games you want seperate (and if the games you want are the older cheaper games, then no point spending the extra £50 for the included game you don't want anyway!).
If you get a game/games for two people to play, you will need to buy another controller as well, as you only get one with the console, no matter how many Gb you plump for.
The difference in the GB btw is how many games/films you can download from their online service, so if you don't think you will use this much then the 120Gb is more than enough.
