Mortgage change over

When we took our mortgage out in 2001 without knowing until very recently i actually signed the paperwork when the company had me down as employed when i have been on Disability benefits since diagnosis in 1998. However, our mortgage company is Kensington Mortgages of whom we have read nothing but bad reviews about. We would like to know if we would be able to get reputable high street mortgage provider to take over our mortgage if the only source of income is Disability benefits. Our mortgage payments have all been up to date.
