Nectar Points Home Store?

Does this still exist?
I remember trying to use my points once but couldn't because I wasn't in my 'home store'. I want to use some points tonight but don't want to get there to find I can't. I have looked on their website but can't find any info about it and am unable to use the phone today.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers,
Loid

Same thing has happened to me.
I tried to use some points in my most local store and was told I couldn't redeem points the first time I had shopped there.
The second time I tried to use the points at another store but was told I could only use them in my home store.
I wrote to Sainsburys about this, as I'd recently moved, and the reply basically said (afraid I've deleated it now) that you should be able to redeem your points in any store after you have been there once and had your card scanned.
I've not tried redeeming them again in either store yet though.
Hope that makes sense and helps.
BLooking forward to the future.0 -
This used to happen to me but I've moved house and my "home store" is at my old place. I can now redeem vouchers in my new one.
Ring the store and check if you are unsure.0 -
I moved house a while ago, but do not remember changing my home store. I have since redeemed points at my new store.
I do remember being told that you need to shop in a store first, then a few days later you can redeem points there.0 -
The homestore restriction doesn't apply anymore. You can only redeem points in a Sainsburys store that you have shopped in within the last 6 months. If you haven't shopped in the store you want to redeem your points in, within the last 6 months then you will need to buy something and use the card to earn points then go back 48hrs later and you will be able to redeem in that store now as well.0

A couple of corrections to Helix's post, as I had to find this out recently myself.
You can redeem your points in any store you've used your Nectar card at in the last year.
If you shop in a new store for the first time you can redeem points in that store the next day (not as long as 48 hours' wait any more, this was changed earlier this year). So shop at 10pm and you can actually use at 7am the next day.0 -
yes this happened to us in Bolton last week because we had not been for a while, we had to wait until our next visit to use our points.0
