Sorry but i read it the same as Upsy Daisy did and i think by reading other peoples post so did they! :o

I dont think the grabbit forum is narky at all people just get pee'd when offers arent explained properly or keep getting duplicated.

    1. I posted a grabbit in good faith.
    2. It fulfils all the conditions of the board in that it is a great deal and expires very soon.
    3. I explained things very clearly in my first post.
    4. sally06 kindly pointed people in the right direction for the codes. The codes might have been 10% or 15% off, I am not sure.

So what exactly is the problem?

Would you have preferred me to have left out the voucher info since I didn't have the voucher? I did think about doing that but thought that someone might be able to find it and make use of it if they couldn't get to the shops but fancied buying something for £25+ in Debenhams. Hopefully some MSEers have been able to get to a store and get their discount.

TBH it's things like this that put people off posting grabbits (why do nearly all of them start with 'please be gentle with me'? Because they've seen other grabbit threads, that's why). I'm a seasoned old hand on MSE and have seen most of it before but newbies can be intimidated by it. Remember, we are supposed to be here to help each other and that is the spirit of this board.

Anyway, I hope that this grabbit has helped someone somewhere.

then perhaps as a "seasoned old hand" leaving out patronising and sarcastic comments would be more in keeping of this board?

That's as maybe but there's no need for the underhand comments, that's how things end up in a cat fight.

I dip in and out of grabbits but over last 2 days I have seen 4 threads where these rows have been its so sad :-( Im sure all people want to do on here is help but somehow it ends up in arguments. HDUK is where that sort or rowing and having a go usually is, not on here which is why I read the posts on there but have never been brave enough to post myself. Please dont fight its such a shame to see this forum go that way :-(

Excuse me but i wasnt criticising you in anyway! I was just saying i stupidly read it the wrong way as Upsy Daisy did too  The only person getting narky is you actually :rotfl: I too have been round MSE a long long time and as you can see from my thank you count i am hardly intimidating and must be helpful or people wouldnt thank me would they as yourself too

Take your own advice. The only one causing bad feeling is yourself :o I meant no offence and was not being critical - sorry if it came across that way.
