Threshers Closing Down sale (not all stores)

Unfortunately Threshers recently went into administration.

This means they now have a closing down sale on at selected stores.

    Went in to the 'Local' by us at the weekend expecting to find bargains of some kind and everything was dearer than anywhere else even with the 10% discount. OH pointed out that they wanted £6 for two of the 70cl bottles of wkd or smirnoff ice when these are frequently two for a fiver anywhere else!

    Yep, I totally agree. I was in our local Haddows today. The shop is practically bare now and they anticipate closing by Wednesday. I really felt sorry for the girl behind the counter. They have 40% off most of their wine and I actually felt really guilty for buying 2 bottles - almost felt like I was taking advantage of their misery.

    Apparently theres 30% off spirits and 40% off wine. Good luck to all the staff in finding new jobs!
