I've got to say that I'm very impressed with my ukxs order- placed Friday, arrived today. Paid £8.99 for the Robin Hood castle thing to use in school - £18.49 had I ordered from UKDVDR, bargain £1 airzooka that I've spent half an hour running around school being totally childish and scaring people with a sharp blast of air- and then hiding!!! Ws tempted to buy one from Hamley's when I saw it there- £1749! 400 piece Magnetix set for £15, a camera case and a couple of other bits. Only thing I'm disappointed with is the humunga tongue for my bro's dog- which was advertised as small, but is actually mini.... will just have to shrink the dog
Will definately be keeping an eye on the site. Thanks to the OP!0 -
Just to let everyone know. I recieved my items today. All of my items had old argos nos on them so look like returns. Everything I am happy with, scooby doo game was abit battered, but apart from that cant fault them.
Delivered by city link.. Dvds where it is bogof, means you get another one of the dvd you ordered, so hence why it didnt discount at the checkout.. Thankyou again op
well that is strange, if it is bogof, why dont they let you pick 2 dvd`s that are in the promotion, and only charge you for 1 of them, who would want 2 copys of the same dvdTake every day as it comes!!0 -

My stuff came yesterday. The Disney watch does not work. Has anyone else got the same problem?Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

I received my box of stuff the other day and am really pleased with everything. Ordered the garden chair seat pads which came with Argos stickers showing they were originally £14.99 for two and I paid £1 so a really good deal - they are a deep navy colour and really nice quality. Also the airzooka is great, really fantastic present for my brother at £1, the cheapest I have seen it elsewhere is £4.99.
Overall including postage I paid an average of £2 for each item I bought which I think is a pretty good deal - though I did get lots from the poundshop bit, but they are def worth it, airzooka, 4 x tea cups (make is Silea - their products sell in other places for much more and they are lovely), the bluetooth headset and the bluetooth memory stick, both working really well, the thermos flask and a few other bits, IMO all are worth much more than £2 each.
If anyone wants to order again though be warned postage seems to have gone up to £9.99 now so it is even more expensive.0 -
Having said that I have just logged in and now it is saying delivery to mainland uk is only £2.99, seems to be changing everyday. Best to double check before you try and order anything - though I did log in before checking this time so perhaps they make changes in costs for returning clients?
ETA: I have been playing about a bit and it seems to change the postage depending on how much you have in your basket etc so keep an eye as you are adding things.0 -
I ordered:
- 6 x coffee cups (these were espresso cups as I'd hoped, hard to tell from the tiny picture, really lovely and bargain at £1)
- playboy water fountain (unfortunately arrived with the plastic parts smashed to pieces)
- alarm clock (ordered one, but charged and sent three - no english instructions so havent actually used one yet. One of the three arrived broken)
- Betty Spaghetti doll pack (2 dolls, bargain at 2.99)
- Flower spots toy (£1, another bargain I think!)
- Pink Leather jewellery box (only a £1, only problem with it is there was a piece of paper stuck to it with chinese writing, so the outside of the jewellery box has black ink on it)
- Argos heavy base metal lamp. (£6 - a good price, but there is an excess of flex at the top, so needed to remove the felt bit on the base and pull through. Not a big problem but thought I'd mention it for anyone thinking of ordering!)

Ok, I did get a little carried away on this site as there was a lot of stuff that I wanted and I have just received my second order - all well packed in great condition - the CD rack that is in the £1 section is huge, we are talking over a metre long and probably 40/50cm wide, really well packaged and looks like good quality - amazing value for money for £1. It should be mounted onto a wall and can take loads of CD's. Not sure quite what to do with it now though as I had imagined it much smaller it is not really suitable for the Christmas present I had in mind. Oh well, I am sure I can think of something!0
