we recently decieded to remortgage so we had a adviser who then decided which mortgage or we wanted so we then sighned some papers but we were not aware that there was 650 charge for solicters that we will have to pay we were told that it would only be a 200 charge for swapping fee also he did not tell us that there will be a 1400 fee that they will take , so my qeustion is can we ring and tell them to stuff it we have not sighned any morgage offer only there papers , is there some sort off cooling off period

refund off fees
our fees are only payable once a mortgage is issued
note we have not payed anything and are only one week from the meeting our only problem is the fact that the solicters fees are 650 as the adviser did not tell us about this at the time
