I'm planning to apply for a mortgage next week and I needed my credit report updated to reflect the change in debt. I read an article on this website stating that I can get a special request from my bank to update my report with 48 hours.

I spoke to egg and filled in a request but they got back to me today telling me the update will take place next month :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Is there anything I can do? All they've said is that Experian is a month behind.

  • Just take a statement with you and a printout of your report. Hand to the mortgage advisor to show you're "debt free". They'll manually do the calculations.
