Hi Beth
Spooky! I work for E-on Powergen (HQ Coventry) and we supply them. In fact, I'm the PM for all the Wind farms in our UK Portfolio. If you should ring head office and enquire I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction and give you some idea of cost. Also, for the units you conserve and don't use you can then resell these kilowatts back to the power supplier for a gain! Moneysaving ££££'s.
Hope you find what you are lookng for.0 -
They sent me a letter stating it is now taking orders..
Need to be somewhere windy to get the cost back - of £1500 and don't forget the grant.. search the forum as there are other threads with all the info.

Of course people probably already know that you can get grants for part of the cost of renewable energy domestic products... Up to £4,000 in our area, Scotland. <I'm in probably the windiest place in the UK, the Shetland Isles!>0

Before you spend money, look at the economics - they don't add up!0

also the literature that windsave had originally talked about payback in 5-6 years - but the price was going to be £1000 - now the price is £1500 so do your sums...
For some people it will be viable but on the flats of Norfolk - it ain't gonna happen ! Even though I can see huge windmills on the coast line from my bedroom window - oh well !Give somebody a hug it costs nothing

Hi Beth
I've been looking at sun pipes recently, and found that Monodraught also do small wind turbines:

There's a link in the useful sticky (at the top of the board) on building your own wind turbine.
