Sacked But I have a Loan

I have recently been sacked from my job, as they think I stole money, but do not have any proof. I was sacked on the basis of probability, so I am obviously taking it to a tribunal!

But in the mean time I have a small loan with Beneficial Finance for around £180 per month and cannot afford to pay it.

Also I do not have any insurance with the loan....

Is there anything I can do?
Even if I had insurance could I have done anything?

many thanks.

  • Get another job would be my first priority.
If you had insurance it would not pay up if you were sacked.

Most dismissals are based on the balance of probabilities, this alone does not mean you have a valid Tribunal claim!
    Gone ... or have I?
  • well anyway,
I didn't steal the money... and the Police sent it to CPS and they dropped the charges due to insufficient evidence... But thats besides the point.

Getting a job after you have been sacked ? :(
  • Then sue them for defamation of character!
  • sorry to not bear great news, but the tribunal is pointless unles syou have evidence that you didn't commit the offence. employment law is different to criminal law, in this case all the employer needs is a view that it is probable you took the money, and unless you can prove otherwise they have a water tight case. i have had 3 of these cases this year as the employer, trust me, unles syou have evidence of your proof save yourself the hassle
