Remortgaging next year but now TUPED!

After almost 10 years with my current employer I am to be TUPED i.e. outsourced to a different company. Same people, same work, same place, different employer. (But I know everything will change really in time)
However although the TUPE regulations bang on about "Continous employment" will it be treated as such as far as my remortgaging is concerned next year when my fixed rate ends?
My current lender is quite happy as long as my earnings dont rapidly diminish as I have a good record with them, but what about others? If we get carried across to the new employer in say January 2010 and I try to remortgage in in say, September 2010 how would new lenders view this as the full 10 plus years:T or the lamentable 9 months  or doesnt it matter?

I'd be very grateful if anyone had any ideas regarding which lenders would be OK with this?

Under TUPE you shouldnt get a P45 so I dont see how a mortgage company could possibly take it as not being in continuous employment.
  • I asked about this when I got an agreement in principal a few months ago; when filling out the forms you just put down the 'new' employer as having employed you for the full term.
  • I don't understand this. What difference should a change of employer make? What if you'd got a new job, would that have affected your remortgaging?
I am an employment solicitor. However, my views should not be taken to be legal advice. It's difficult to give correct opinion based on the information given by posters.
