I got my wedding dress for half price and no-one to share it with!

I am the ultimate bargain hunter and all family and friends know that and now i have pulled off the biggest bargain of all and cant tell anyone cos they dont have to know how much i paid for my gown - let them think it was expensive!

I tried it on 5 weeks ago, went on holiday and came back still thinking of it but concerned by the £1k price tag. Went in to see it and the one on the rack which fits perfectly was £425! So I snapped it up!

So let me shout it out loud (even if only on MSE)

I GOT MY DRESS LESS THAN HALF PRICE!

I feel better now!
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

  • Woohoo! Good work HeatherBelle!:T:money::T

    I know how expensive they can be (my dream one was £950...no chance!), and considering that most of them are made in China anyway...blo*dy rip-off merchants! So even more congrats to you!

  • It is currently hanging in the spare room and I am dying to try it on again but I am going to take it through to MIL2B's on Saturday for safe storage. It's not that I don't trust my OH not to look cos he is honest but it is too much of a distraction.
    Piccys will follow on the weekend

    As I am involved in the wedding industry I am getting everything at a reasonable amount and this was one thing I couldn't get cheaper (well I obviously have now!) Anything we want I am just buying and adding to our business so effectively the cost is covered before our big day and will actually help pay off other things!
