Where to Find Cheap & Nice Glass Bottles ?

Hi
For those who make the flavoured vodkas and flavoured oils.
I was wondering what bottles you use and where you get them from ?
I had thought of putting the vodka back in the original bottle but thought because the seal was already broken it wouldn't look very nice.
I was also hoping to split one big bottle of Vodka into a few little ones as gifts.
I've had a look around on google but just unsure whats the best to go with so thought I'd ask the experts.
Thanks

I keep all the glass bottles that i get salad dressing, balsamic vinegar etc in, then give them a soak in a soda crystal/water (to get any grease off), and then stick them through the dishwasher to get them right clean. They are often quite funky shapes and stuff and you dont need a huge amount of flavoured vodka to fill them up!
Maybe try Freecyle, or ask friends if they have any empty bottles, as a way of getting them free?0 -
if you have any speciality wine shops near they may have empties from the wines they open for customers to taste?0

Hi definetly no specialty wine shops near me, if there was I'd be getting buckfast bottles.. lol
I'll keep and eye out when I am in the shops, something might turn up.
I've never been on freecycle before so must go have a nosey0 -
Please let me know if you find anything as I'm stumped on this too! I'd really like to start making the vodka at the end of the month but need the bottles!'They only had one cow!'0

I found a local home brew shop that sold half wine bottles (12 for £6ish), caps, and even shrink wrap fairly cheaply. Not sure if I'm allowed to name the company but and they have a few branches in the Midlands, but also offer delivery.0
