    Do you know much about the ins and outs of building a house, from start to finish?

    Obviously not....... :rotfl::rotfl:
    I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:
  • It's a pretty simple situation.

    Fact: Land is cheaper now than before.

    Fact: Builders and tradesmen are cheaper and more available now than before.

    Actually Hamish, thats far from the Truth.

    For years and years the "Land cost" was around 20-25% of the total cost.
    Today its more like 50% of the total.

    Although I know of good builders who are generally a bit quiet they ALL have work and generally only drop prices when the work runs out......Land prices in the SE are rediculously high.....
