A meat mincer - NO I do not have one I just buy the minced meat from the supermarket. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
I had a hand cranked one years ago, it was okay for mincing up the remains of a joint and onions, but clogged a bit on fresh meat. To be honest for that price I'd go for something like this as it's more versatile.

I used to use a 'hand-cranked' one every Monday on the Sunday leftovers of cold, roasted meat - as a girl. It looked something like this

we have a hand cranked one from lakeland, and it's ok, but food processor is probably easier to use, easier to clean and more versatile.0

I have a mincer attachment for my Kenwood Chef which I do use now and again, but I wouldn't bother with it as a seperate appliance tbh.Val.0

I have a minced from Lakeland that is rubbish for mincing meat but very good for mincing vegetables. I'm not sure how much use I'd get from a machine for mincing.0

I have my gran's hand cranked mincer but it didn't do a good job on raw meat. I think it's probably just blunt, I don't know.
I want to make pates, terrines and sausages, so got a mincer attachment for the old chef that I got off freecycle.
I looked into the Lakeland electric mincer, but the reviews were a bit mixed and it would be something else to store, not to mention the significant expense."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
