Loan for really bad credit score

Hi there,

I need a loan asap for £2,500, the thing is I have a really bad credit score and so does my partner. We both have CCJ's and many missed payments on other loans, which have all not been written off.

Anyway I am 29 and on about £32k and my partner is 37 and self employed.

Any suggestions to where I can get a loan from - it is to pay for repairs to my car (£1,500 and consoliated overdraft £500 and credit card £500).

Have already applied to bank and had it refused..

Thanks in advance..

  • Try Zopa. Its a sight I have just found where people lend other people money at a set rate of interest.

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
  • Provident are the only ones who may touch you. You say you are on £32k and your partner self emp (poss £10k +)..... if on a combined £42k a year and you are missing payment here there and everywhere my advice is go to the debt forum and post a statement of account and lets try and get you are out this cycle.
  • thanks for the ideas.

Saddly Zopa will not have me either!

tasha-debt, Zopa will decline every applicant with a CCJ or any trace of unsatisfied defaults or recent non-trivial late payments. There's no point in mentioning them in such cases. Zopa doesn't do sub-prime lending at all.

If you can't service any of your previous debts, how are you going to repay a new loan on top of all the ones you aren't paying for??
  • Got to be a troll!
  • Troll? Dont think so......

Put it this way, if someone with your record of defaults etc came to you for a loan what would you say?
