Late starting contraceptive pill

In my haste to get all my work done ahead of time along with a million other things going on I forgot to start my new packet of Brevinor contraceptive pills on time
I was meant to start a new packet on Tuesday morning, bled normally the week before in my 7 pill-free days and haven't had sex since around the 25th or 26th of Oct (terrible eh?).
What is my best course of action as I can't even try to get hold of the docs until tomorrow and I have no idea when I could actually speak to someone.
Thanks

You should start taking your pills as soon as possible, even if you are two days late starting. I quite often mess about with my pills on purpose because Im making sure I start at the times convenient to me and missing two days won't hurt you. However, you won't be covered for contraceptive protection and you will need to use something extra the next time you have sex. It will tell you on your pill packet how many days you have to do this before you are covered. I take Microgynon30 and it says you have to use extra protection for 7 days if you have missed a pill. It will tell you all this in your pill leaflet.0

Phone NHS direct and ask for advice. Or your local family planning service.
I know the advice I always got was to start with the correct pill (so take Thursdays now) and keep going as normal. You will need to use additional protection for 7 days.0 -
