Anyone good with numbers when it comes to salaries?
I'm on 22k at present, having to find a new job, and looks like going to have to take a drop regardless.
My salary comes in about £1300 per month after tax, etc. Any idea what a drop to £16k would make that?

Don't forget to factor in any reductions in travel costs or travel time, and also think about benefits like flexi-time, additional holidays, pensions, private health insurance. I know they're not cash in the bank, but they are worthwhile!Signature removed for peace of mind0

My salary used to be exactly 16k. I took home £1080pm. I had no pension deductions. Hope that helps.£1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50/£600
HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500
"3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600 :eek:0
