Transfer of equity costs - help

Am new to this site so not sure how it all works.I am selling my share of a property to the other co-owners boyfriend, they are currently reapplying for the same mortgage. We are debating who is to pay the costs of the transfer of equity. Should this be equally split or is one of us liable for the costs?.
Any help gratefully received.
