Large bags of pasta

Can anyone tell me which supermarket sells the biggest bag of pasta for the best price? Tesco do a 5kg bag of fusilli for £2.95. Is there a better deal than that?

asda do a 3kg bag for £1.68 which works out as 56p a kg compared to tescos 59 a kg just pennys in it,you can buy smartprice at 38p a kg which will give you a 5kg bag for £1.90 which saves 90p buy a small 500g bag for 19p might be okay

Hmm I find smartprice or value pasta goes soggy very quickly. Do you know anything about Aldi or Lidl pasta and their prices?

to stop smartprice pasta going soggy cook till just soft then drench in cold water. then reheat in with the sauce. works for me.

Lidl do a bag about this [ ] big (I'm moving my arms around to show you ;D ) for 75 or 79p.

I think it's about a 2kg bag but they only do fusilli, I think it's nicer than the smartprice pasta.

Co-op are doing a bogof on pasta at the moment. I find Morrisons usually do a lot of bogofs on it as well and I usually fill my boots ;D as its cheaper to get them like that than at the cash and carry.
