Temp job?? Worth taking?

Hi, need some advice here please! Managed to get an Xmas temp job at M&S, runs from 23rd nov to 2nd Jan. Was just wondering abt the hassle of claiming WT/HB for such a short time, it's 18.75 hours a week, can't get an appointment with lone parent advisor at Jobcentre until next Tuesday:mad:
Will I be entitled to a months HB/CT?? Will it disrupt my current claim and leave me in arrears?? I will get the £40 a week, plus £250 for coming of IS?? Was told before if I work temp, that if I have to claim IS again, then go back to work, I would still get the remainder of 52 weeks worth of £40(in work credit) is this right?? The hours are weekends as well, evry other sat and sunday, am going to see a childminder tomorrow, it's out of my way, shall need to catch another bus to get there, she wants money in advance, don't think I shall be able to manage it paying her, unless the child element of WT is sorted quickly? Am not sure what to do, I've worked at M&S before,so would love to go back even as a temp............
