Looking for some tarmac to be put on the drive way (garage was converted into a bedroom) approx 3m by 1m.

Im in the portadown/craigavon/lurgan area.

Any one have any names/numbers and would anyone have an approx cost for the area?

  • If you drive up into Burnside/Legahory in Craigavon there are numerous folk up there who could help you out..... Not sure of any numbers..... as they don't advertise in the yellow pages but their "mobile" numbers are usually printed up the side of their vans below the "Patio & Roof Cleaning" advert.. lol!!
  • Thats not fair!!

But I do agree plenty of folk there who would give you a great price for the job!!

Make sure you get a price from a few of them !!

Seriously, there is a fella who live aorund Charlestown Road - (The Palms) if you know where that is who does a lot of work for the Roads Service etc.. PM me for his name
  • thanks for the info/advise.

  • Also please don't get one of the Travellers to do it for you. Unless of course you want to be one of the customers on TV's Rogue traders ;)

dont worry i would not think about it! (you get what you pay for, and im not planning to move for a good while so want it done well)

i heard a story (dont know how true it was) of a guy getting the drive way done by the travellers,

they asked if he wanted the small white stones put in (would cost an extra £50) he thought ok.

Got it done, and paid the guys , he noticed a packet of polo mint wrappers on the garden and thought nothing of it, bit of rain , and the white stones in the tarmac disappeared... he spent £50 for white stones and instead got polo mints!
