I was going to make an order with these last week, as i have been watching a few of these online retailers, all with brilliant prices.
but when i couldn't get foodbargains up when i typed the website into my browser, i thought it was my computer playing up again,
Anyway i went back yesterday to see if it was doing the same but no it was there,
somebody said somewhere it was a database error, doesn't mean anything to me, well i ordered yesterday, recevied my order today, perfect, THEN i notice that they are doing a 10% discount on all orders till the end this month, gutted i could have saved £5.32.
I am debating if i should order another or share the order with a friend.

If any body waants the discount, it is on the home page of they website, but here it is if it helps na10d.
like what one of the supermarkets say, every little helps, but i dont know which one.

Seeing as you didn't put a smilie I assume you were serious - to be honest, firstly I can't really see why the length of time the OP took should be any concern of yours (or anyone else) and, secondly, it seems a little sad that you are bothering to check back through peoples 'post records' early in the morning!

Maybe I am missing some vital point here?

You aren't allowed to self promote on this site and I seem to recall this was going on back in the spring with several posters.

Checking back four or five posts wasn't at all difficult or time consuming. I think you'll find three of those five posts mention the same web site but all at different times that the poster had 'just' found.

I can't see that the person who pointed out the discount code was doing anythng wrong. Her/his post just implied they had been checking prices on several sites - which surely is what a lot of us do?I took the post at face value ie somebody who had spotted a bargain code trying to be helpful by passing it on.

i didn't start this thread, but only put on it what i found, nothing which isn't out there in the big wide web,
Sorry, how can i be promoting FB, the thread is about "Has FB has gone bust", but if you go to they website it clearly isn't, i have just posted to say what i have found,

If i remember the other day looking AF's forum on they website, somebody on there also put the exact same posting, but it as now disappeared, just thinking about it, was this somebody from AF trying to gain FB's custom or something else.
I agree with tbw, where would somebody come onto this thread at 6.18am to look at other peoples posts, strange.

As i have taken my time to look through a certain members posts, it seems they are a lot of AF postings, also about car boots, it might be a conscience but was AF's owner a carbooter or marketer, wasn't he?

But also looking at another AF post, it seems you are also very argumentative when somebody says something bad about AF, why? nearly ever post! i think this is also strange, but they might be the number 1 fan of AF. who knows
I should be able to use any on line shop and be able to post my comments, i have had a bad experience with another a while back, but don't want to put that company down, as after a period of time we got a refund.
if you see from my other post, i am up to my eyes in debt and welcome any discounts from any retailer.
i use these rather than the other ones because i receive free delivery and that saves on the delivery charge, an extra bonus,

and that all i have to say, i don't want to get into a argument but only stating what i see.

Hang on a minute here - I wasn't the person who started a thread on Foodbargains on the 7th. - was I?

And the question I asked was reasonable - I know that A/F don't do free delivery, and I can't find free delivery on Foodbargains website - don't you think it would be helpful for people to know?

Neither can I find any mention of the discount on Foodbargains but I could be missing that somewhere?

... and before you make mention again that this information would be helpful to me - it wouldn't. I live in one of the remote, outlying areas of the UK and 'free delivery' if it's via courier (which these things have to be) doesn't apply to me. I don't benefit, only other money savers ...

And since the poster seems determined to simply be offended by my asking about his post, rather than just answering it, you might have noticed that so far:
I've been accused of working for AF - I won't bother denying this, but will mention it to Dan next time I order so he may clarify the situation for you. It is him, after all that you are accusing of underhand promotion.
I've been accused of 'getting up early' - I have a smallholding and, at the moment, a very sick dog that I'm monitoring around the clock - that answer the question?
I've been accused of 'reading other people's posts' - no kidding ...it's a forum ...
I've been accused of posting about 'car boots' - well, yeah, and a few million other people go to car boots (I know, I've seen 'em)
And, apparently, the poster has told us that Dan was/is a booter - is he, I didn't know that ... how does the poster know?
Oh, and the poster also goes on AF's forum - so do I - and said a thread has been taken off. I think I know the thread the poster is meaning and it was still there the last time I looked.

Oh, and a few weeks back I was screaming like a banshee about my order with AF - not all my posts have been 'nice.'

Now can you see why I really didn't care to respond to the poster ...

I don't know if you were around the AF threads back at the beginning of the year tbw - but we did have a remarkably similar situation. First thing was ... I got accused of working for AF.
