Mortgage holiday help

Hi there we are expecting our first baby and i rang Nationwide to ask for 6 months mortgage holiday for while my wife is on maternity leave. They will not give us this due to value they have on our house - £185,000
However i had the house valued in June by 2 different Estate agents and the house is worth £275 - £285,000. Nationwide will not change their value (which does not take into account an extension) so they actually have us in negative equity. They advised trying for additional borrowing - which they have since refused also. I am paying £400 on credit cards and have £4000 overdraft so wanted £15k to clear all this at £100 per month.
Has anyone any advice now as to what i can do as the baby is due in January and i am really starting to panick
Many thanks

Will they allow you to pay for a proper valuation?0

they wont allow anything at all! No matter how many times i try explaining they just say "we cannot change the valuation"
Its so frustrating - i mean if it was a few thousand out but its £100,000 out and there is no compassion at all0 -
Just to be clear - have you asked if you can pay for a standard valuation?0

no i havent - they say there is nothing i can do?0
