if you are given ccj at your previous adress and you werent aware how do you go about removing it? do u contact court or the company.

A CCJ can only be removed if you pay the debt in full within a certain amount of time from it being issued i believe 30 days but not sure will have to check.

Other than that it stays with you for 6 years.

Well, you can apply to have it set aside, but there are strict conditions attached.

just looked at that link you posted and it stats the following

" can put aside if never got the original documents about the CCJ etc "

Well i have a CCJ on my file which i never got the forms through about and i moved away from that address aswell

How do i go about getting this put aside or removed

Apply to the court on an N244. You will state that you did not receive particulars of claim and also state your defence, e.g. debt paid in full, no signed agreement. Ask for the judgement to be set aside.

I believe there is a fee for this application. I think the factsheet explains this
