When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D

Morning gang;)

  • Hi everyone.

Haven't posted for a bit, had a lot of carpy stuff happen and am just starting to get back on track.

Today I have checked online banking.
Been to allotment planted out spring veg, dug up sweetcorn and picked some lovely veggies. SIL picked me up and then dropped me in town so I could get bus home; gave me an extra 4 hours uninteruppted sleep.:o
Ds is feeling poorly so may not go to computer/photography course later, so that may save me petrol, (still would rather him be well enough to go)
Will clean out fridge, its nasty lol
Dinner, pies from freezer, yummy chicken ones and veg from lottie.
Need to tidy conservatory again, as it has become a dumping ground again.
Need to resurrect my diary again so I start getting things done again.
Need to look at vouchers etc to see what I have towards Crimbo shopping
Just need to get my act together in general:cool:

    Have a good day folks:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

Hi everyone - well done on your case of wine catmiaow - don't drink it all at once will you!

    Another dull list from me:-
    1) Went to work
    2) All meals from stores. I even dug out an ancient bag of porridge as we had run out of bread for toast.
    3) LSD so far - just bread and a paper.
    4) Sorted paperwork.
    5) Sold an item for £5 on Netmums.
    6) Have an online shop arriving late tonight as that was the cheapest time for delivery.
    7) Have a survey to do later.
    8) Checked banking, quidco and did SCs.

Just remembered last night's dream. :eek:I lived in a beautiful beach house in New England that I had named 'Quidco'! How sad is that?
