I am due to move in the next 2 weeks and have decided it's time for a new tv.
i am wanting a plasma or lcd min of 42'' not to sure if lcd come that big?.
Can anyone point me in the right direction i have allowed myself £1300 for the tv. would prefer a buy now pay later deal if anyone knows who is offering thi also.

My advice would be - go window shopping, decide exactly which make & model you want, then dont buy it. Wait until you move and you are settled in your new house, then go for that exact make & model - chances are, the way technology is moving, the TV will have dropped in price!My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!0

The Hitachi 42P7500 is getting good feedback on AVForums as did the 42P7200 that its based on. Actually they are virtually identical except the 7500 has built-in Freeview and one less scart socket.
