NRP on bail?

Hi, hope someone can help with a quick query.
CSA are chasing ex for arrears of over £10k and case was passed to legal enforcement who referred it to criminal compliance. Have spoken to investigator who said that he has had his bail extended till the end of the month while enquiries are ongoing and that he has to report to the police station to be interviewed again. Ex is self employed.
Do the CSA have powers of arrest? Can they have someone interviewed down the police station? Or has he been uncovered doing something else like fraud etc? Any advice would be great as I am confused.

The CSA do not have powers of arrest - they may have got the case to court for committal for non payment or maybe for providing false info but he failed to attend. Court would have issued the warrant for arrest with or without bail - looks like with in this case - CSA have asked for an adjournement possibly.0

Thanks for getting back to me.
All I know is that they were looking at parallel action for the liability order and then criminal compliance got involved. The investigators that I spoke to said that they were not happy and investigations were ongoing, possibly criminal. I have been told I am going to be reassessed and the arrears and assessment will go up. Legal enforcement have told me that they have stopped the liability order details till criminal compliance are done. This is why I was wondering what was going on, I understand that they can't give me all the info in case I speak to him about it (I don't even know where he is) but it gets really confusing!0 -
Criminal compliance is very secretive - to protect the investigation. It certainly looks like he has been suspected of providing false info or something similar. All you can do is wait I'm afraid.0
