I was at my dentist yesterday and they have a notice in the window that they are taking on NHS patients. It's a good practice and I would recommend them.
Woodstock Dental Practice
266 Woodstock Road
Belfast
Tel 9045 7561
It's in an old house just across the road from Willowfield police station and EGG computers.

My friend goes to them. She has always been happy.
I just phoned Rosetta Dentists last year and asked if they where taking new patients.
They said yes, I joined them. I was expecting it to be a nightmare finding an NHS dentist, but first call I got one.0 -
There is a new NHS Dental Practice opening in Antrim. They are pre-registering at Oriel Surgery on Tuesdays between 7pm and 9pm and Saturdays between 10am and 3pm up until 26th March. There is a £10 registration fee for each patient registering and you need to bring your medical card if you have it. There is a contact number for anyone who can't make it to their pre-registration sessions, it's 02893341437.0

I'm looking for a new dentist in Newtownabbey area. When i was at my usual dentist last week, the Dental Nurse/Assistant in between coughing and spluttering, took a tissue from her pocket and promptly wiped around the surface were the gargling water is, and then around a couple of kiddies toys, before putting it back in her pocket. She also did not wear gloves when using the suction thing in my month. My family have been with the same Dentist (not just practice) for over 40yrs, and i know its not easy to find another NHS Dentist, but this has really put me off going back. My daughter needs treatment there next week and i'm quite apprehensive about going back.0

Strange how old threads appear again
Anyway my dentist told me a few weeks ago that she was glad they had kept up the NHS work, yes you do have to see more patients but with the downturn in private work including cancellations on Denplan........Dave0
