My junk email box is full of offers like this. Whether or not the stuff is genuine, who knows.

About a month ago the national press was full of adverts from a chain called Private Shop. They might be able to help you.

However, bear in mind that it may be dangerous to take Viagra if you are suffering from certain forms of heart disease, so it would be wise to discuss the matter with a doctor anyway.

Do not buy from the internet, as there is a lot of fakes knocking around. Get a private prescription from your GP and get is dispensed at a local pharmacy or if looking to save money, look at UK registered online pharmacies

Some do get it on an NHS prescription, or as already mentioned the Dr will write a private prescription and costs around £8 per tablet but does depend on the strength 25mg 50mg or 100mg!!!;) Not a bad price!!!

    Carnitine & viagra
    carnitine & viagra

Anyone who is having problems in this area may just try the carnitine part.
    zipvit do it A114 Acetyl-L-Carnitine 500mg RDD 3 per Day - 90 (size R) £7.45

A while ago I had an indwelling catheta which was strapped to my leg (if indwelling cathetas get detached from the nightbag, you can imagine what happens) I was taking Carnitine at the time and if I didn't allow sufficient room for expansion kept getting woken up in the night with unwanted noturnal tumesence. So it may be worth a try on it's own before lashing out on the viagra.

If anyone's interested in the reason why I was taking carnitine you can find it here Serum Carnitine Levels 2002 but the side effects may appeal to some. However, if you are thinking of taking it be aware that it does give you more energy so may keep you up all night.;)
Good for MS/ ME/ CFS type fatigue as well will find the links if anyones interested.

It wouldn't be the responsible thing to do simply because a Dr would need to consider any underlying reasons why the viagra might be necessary in the first instance.
If there was an underlying physical reason why it has become necessary to consider viagra, it's better to have that discovered sooner rather than later and dealt with.

On the other hand there are readers here who have been to their doctor and do have a prescription but who feel that prescription (usually limited to 4 tabs a month) isn't sufficient for them. So there are reasons why people want to buy off prescription, though I agree that in the first place the cost effective moneysaving choice would be to see if you can get it on prescription.

Agreed Ted, it wasn't clear from the original question if it was a diagnosed treatment or not. :)
