How often should i review my Mortgage

Hi I have a Barclays/Woolwich Openplan Mortgage currently,i believe running @ 5.35% i have had this mortgage for 18 months when should i have it reviewed? I am self employed so i would prefer to stay with my present mortgage company as they already have all my details and with business & private accounts with them and a local branch for paying in cash daily on the high street it works well for me

I would have thought a review by an existing lender was some kind of insurance sales excercise ? I could be too cynical but then again it could be a glorious opportunity to spend money.

And they would do this out of charitable concern for your circumstances ?
Perhaps others have had beneficial results with this approach. If you don't ask you won't get.

It depends if you are tied to them or not I guess. If there is no penalty for moving then I would approach a broker and ask them if they can better your current deal.

Moving mortgages isnt really that much of an issue these days and if it will save you money then its well worth doing.
