Nice one, I'll set a reminder for that.

Have the day off work today and have been watching daytime TV for the first time in ages. I'd forgotten how many "GO ON, BORROW SOME MONEY FROM US" adverts there are.

Only seen Carol Vorderman once, mind you.

In the end, people need to be responsible for the debt they own.

Personal Finance should be taught in schools. Perhaps an NVQ in PF should be required before anybody can borrow money to buy a car and an O level to buy a house.

Just had a spell of nights away with work in naff travelodges. Do yours have TV's that only get channels 1,2,3 and 4...a really snowy channel 5 and 25 seconds of 'adult' channels before you have to pay more

"Gwen Colbourne, at 72, had 3 store cards, 6 credit cards and 2 loans, yet had no assets and lived on a small pension. " taken from bbc article.

How can someone get Credit with just a small pension????

I really do think the way the system is in this Country, they can throw what ever amount at you, the System is always in their favour.

    Sad.

    Very Sad.
