Found the site by accident and bought this (it was delivered within a couple of days) and it is a cracking telly.
Have looked on the price comp sites and it is about £300 more expensive anywhere else.

That plasma is a good price, but it be also worth looking at this site http://www.rgbdirect.co.uk/, used them about 5 years ago to buy a widescreen tv, very cheap and excellent service. When I'm in the market for a plasma I will be going back there. You'll Never Walk Alone0

Now this one is a good deal. The Panasonics are very solid sets with great picture quality.
It isn't HD ready, but it will give you a much better picture quality than the rubbish, cheap HD ready sets when displaying either SD or HD feeds.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

I am really tempted by the 37Px60 at empire direct, especially with the 9 months interest free. Anyone bought from them or bought this tv.

Yes i have one of these sets fed by a Telewest HD box and it is superb. The latest What Hi fi magazine has a short review and gets 5 out of 5 from them.
next months has a fuller review. The stand might seem expensive but it is a real piece of engineering.
Incidentally I paid £1499 with stand from John Lewis but this does include their 5 year warrantee and was bought with their credit card on 6 months interest free.0
