Nationwide wording

Hopefully this will be a quick question for someone to answer for me

"Please note that you cannot switch to an alternative Nationwide product before the end of your deal "

does the 'end of your deal' part mean if you're fixed for say 3 years, or does it mean the end of the mortgage??

I'll admit, I'm very very simple when it comes to mortgages :(

  • End of your deal = 3 years fixed or whatever you got offered (not 'the term' which will normally be in the region of 20 - 30 years). Check no early repayment penalties extending beyond the 'deal period'.
