We have a Harrisons 'Opal' bed (which they no longer make, I believe). Had it for, um, 3 years I think. It's a pocket spring and memory foam bed, and it's by far the best bed I've ever slept in. Not cheap, by any means, but it's really good quality, finished nicely and so so comfortable! So, I'd recommend one, based on my experience.0

They used to have a very good name, but recently I have heard a few complaints about them. This is probably partly due to them doing what many of the big brands are doing, and cutting quality to cut production costs. However I'm sure they are still better than some of the big brands I could mention.0

We got a harrison topaz about 4 weeks ago, we had a memoryfoam mattress that was not doing either of our backs any good, much better now-I dont spend the first hour walking around like a cripple.
We had it made with one alf of the mattress hard and the other medium at no extra cost, this means we can only turn the bed over one way so it may not last as long.
not cheap but should last a while.
