Well luckily I managed to obtain this offer on the 12th, it was delivered last night, without the Sports Resort.

Phoning up customer services today, they informed me that this was a discontinued item and was out of stock. Funny how on the website it was still for sale. Waiting to hear back as to what discount they are going to offer, Hopefully enough to buty the game elsewhere, looking for a minimum of £30.

Hi, did you manage to get anywhere with this. I'm in a similar situation in that I didn't get Sports Resort or Mario Kart with my order. All I can get from them at the moment is that they are waiting for head office?

Well I never heard back from them by almost close of the call centre on Wednesday night, so phoned up again and spoke to someone who was not from an Indian call centre (Not sure if Asda use one even).

Anyway very helpful, did not tell me that the Sports Resort game was discontinued as the earlier colleague had. She went away and then came back and told me they could not get the game and offered me £27.71, which is the cost of the game they say. This may or may not be true, but it was a fair offer, as from what I could tell, it was only for the game and no motion plus controller, well the description never mentioned that. So I accepted and have now had the money refunded to my card. So I am now looking for the best deal on the web for this game & will order, which will be around £30.

When I phoned I used the free phone number from Saynoto0870.com.

As far as I know , the Sport Resort game ALWAYS comes bundled with the Motion Plus - it is pointless without it. And normally it costs around £30 - 40. So Asda are not being straight with you.

Also, all the Wii console bundles I have seen with Sport Resort include the Motion Plus.

I had similar last year at Smyths , when they advertised a bundle with Wii Play and an EXTRA remote. Well Wii Play only comes with a remote - you can't but it on its own - so I argued an EXTRA mean as well as the one with the Wii Play. They gave in eventually, and gave me the extra remote.

So keep on at Asda - otherwise it is misleading advertising.
  • Bought this from Asda about a week ago, got Wii, Sports, Sports Resort (inc motion thingy) Mario Cart game (+wheel) and a box of plastic stuff - tennis racket, golf club etc.

£167.xx saving £58 I think. Great deal I reckon! Also Wii Fit Plus £67.xx in board.

Want to find a great deal on extra controller/nunchuck/motion and maybe a charger? Hoping someone can help?
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

A few places are doing the Nunchuck for around £13 - 15.

The cheapest charger I have seen is this quad one from argos ...
    http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001801&langId=-1&searchTerms=5669295

... currently half price at £12.49, it comes with 4 batteries, and plugs into the Wii power supply, with an adaptor cable

My experience has turned out to be quite the opposite. Have ended up taking it back to my local store and getting them to refund me completely. Have to say that Asda Direct customer services (based in South Africa I've now found out) are the worst communicators I've ever come across. Each time I spoke to them I got a completely different story. Needless to say I've now written to Head Office, although if this experience is anything to go by I won't expect a reply!
