Welcome Finance

Hello

I had a loan secured on my house with welcome finance - in 2007 i surrendered the house for voluntary repossion as i was up to my eyes in debt, had mortgage arrears etc and despite trying to sell the house, i could not complete before they took me for full possession. My husband and i split up and i now rent a house privately. The loan was 25k and we currently pay £133 each per month to welcome finance but actually owe more than we originally borrowed. The house was sold and we still owe 13k which we are now paying at a rate of £60 per month. I feel like i am sinking again and dont know what to do. I cant afford to pay anymore a month to Welcome but we are never going to clear this debt...any advice????

  • did you have ppi with welcome? is there a chance it was mis-sold? did you incur any charges with them? have you tried to reclaim these?

might not clear amount owed but could go some way to reduce the total amount?

have 2 complaints with FOS at moment regards this bunch of s***s
