Paid off a possible unenforceable loan, any redress?

That's how I read it, but ESUHL/NMT has made me think there could be another perspective on it.

I'm just wondering whether you could give me any further advice:

I've spoke to trading standards who have set me up with a meeting with meeting at the local citizens advice bureau for tomorrow- they think that if the loan still stands then their is possible action to get it written off (the long and short of the situation)

I haev rung Barclays up and they said it is possible for me to reinstate the loan and they pay me back the money i cleared the debt with.

I was wondering:
a) whether the series of transactions i would have undertaken would leave me in a weaker position to the other 7 course members who have not paid and then subsequently 'unpaid' the debt
b) any more advice anyone could give me regarding this matter

Just to add:
I am also wondering whether by reinstating the loan agreement based on the previous terms and conditions whether this would make me the broker of the loan and transfer responsibility from the training company?

If you have a claim then I doubt whether the loan is "active" or not will make a difference. Leave it paid off... well i would anyway.
