Could be on affordability. What is your income, do you have a mortgage, any loans, or credit cards outstanding. These dont have to have missing payments or anything, it could just be that you are in the eyes of the lender over commited.
BTW the rating on these sites is useless. You need to check the file carefully to show that there is nothing untoward lurking there. Any missed payments, any default notices from a while back that you may have forgotten about?
Have you checked your file with Call Credit as well.
I am sure someone more experienced will be around soon with more advice.:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j0 -
whats credit call?0

Its Call Credit which is another credit reference agency. You should check that file as well. Just to make sure there is nothing nasty lurking.:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j0

Are you in full time employment is your Hubby working. Could be all down to affordability. As 11k outstanding plus a mortgage is quite a lot. The credit crunch has made all lenders tighten the criteria. I know its disappointing, but maybe you could look at a cheaper alternative. My Son had a fab 3+2 + recliner leather suite in Argos for £600. Not that, that solves your problems, its just sometimes these Buy Now Interest Free for 4years jobbies are just seriously over priced in the beginning.
