I know it's not in Bangor but I would highly recommend Luce Balloons in Lisburn

Good to hear your son is home safe and sound:T
Try Matalan, they have an extensive range of helium balloons in their party sections.I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
Most card shops seem to do balloons and banners now. Might be worth letting your fingers do the walking and checking if the local shops have ones with an appropriate message. Would shops in/near local bases have what you're looking for? Enjoy yourselves tomorrow!0

I hope you get sorted out ok, but if you don't, just tell your son that you're so glad he is home safe and sound. Tell him how much you love him and how much he means to all of you. At the same time, spare a thought and a prayer for all those families whose sons did not return. I'm sure you will though. Enjoy your time together when he is home and I hope he continues to keep safe.0

It's moneysaving and more personal for a start!
Isn't there a shop up the Falls Road that sells all manner of stuff like this? McPeakes I think it might be called.
Why not try t'internet? Bound to be somewhere out there sells them!0 -
