building an extention on driveway .

I am looking an idea of how much it would cost to build a ground floor bedroom and showerroom on an exsisting driveway .(semi detached )
are there any planning or building control issuses I should look out for .

    You would need to go to an arcitect and have plans for this drawn up then it would need to be approved by building control as it would be a extension of your property.

    Our plans were submitted on a notepad sheet of paper drawn freehand with a biro - were accepted no problems.

    Mind when we came to sell, the buyers solicitors were not too impressed and kept requesting the original plans :rotfl:

    Approx £50-60/sq. ft

    I hope you don't litterally mean on the driveway.... I think you may need some foundations !! :rotfl::rotfl:
