Does anyone know if it is it possible to block internet access from north of Hadrian's wall? That would be good for starters.

But in all seriousness it only takes the right voice from somewhere to calm some posters down.
I have no problem saying things like that above on occasion, h as I do not see this site has some fantasy war zone of "Bulls Vs Bears"
I think some see it as turning on each other, I see it has being human. :)

I think I should do it more, but thankfully up until recently it had subsided a fair bit.

I have said much the same before about other things.

But I don't think any of us can say we haven't crossed the line in manners and fairness here. I can only think of one or two people who I've never seen be rude, and I'm sadly not one of those! I think none of us can make a direct ''finger point'' and those that do perhaps don't recognise they have done the similar to others?

I agree, I have been rude also but never singled any one out or followed them around to abuse. (Mind you I do like a good spar every now and then and GD is always willing participant :))
But to say that even people who I have not got on with (carolt is perhaps one of the few examples I can think of)) I have always made sure they realize that I am not trying to be personal and that it was just a debate and that I never carry a grudge.

I think most of us may lose our  every now and then in debate.
It is when people do not debate and make abuse, insults trolling (what ever the term is) their only contribution or just to derail a debate I find unacceptable.
Sometimes I find it a bit unnerving, but that may just be me.
