The Telegraph has a free Classic War Films double DVD inside (not a voucher).

OH got the Telegraph late yesterday for the DVD offer which was Ice Cold in Alex and The Long the Short & the Tall (note these were yesterday's titles).

I haven't got today's copy yet but the DVDs are advertised as being The Cruel Sea and the First of the Few (free inside today's Sunday Telegraph).

I think this is a 4-day offer, so Monday and Tuesday's Telegraph should also have Classic War DVDs in as well.

    HTH

Yes - and it's the same price as sending in the coupon with a cheque - £2.49

    http://tgd.readerspromotions.com/

Having said that you can send in a 90p (or was it 95p) stamped SAE (A5 - padded preferred) which would be the true MSE method of getting it - ie. CHEAPER ! :)

Sadly I don't have the address to hand but I'm sure someone can provide it.
Also as I read it (rather quickly in the newsagents) the SAE method didn't require the actual coupon sending in.

  • Bought the People to get the £10 off £50 Ocado but it's first order only, so not worth the 95p if you've ever bought from Ocado before.

You really must head over to the Free Giveaway CDs and DVDs thread on the Grabbit Quick forum a bit more often :)

    from the Telegraph article itself

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/promotions/6494306/Free-DVDs-Five-free-WWII-DVDs-with-The-Daily-Telegraph.html

There are FIVE DVDs - unless you choose the send away with P&P - and then there are 8 - not sure what the other 3 are ?

The 5 are by coupon redemption on a daily basis at WHSMITH

Looks like these are documentaries of true stories rather than the films we all know.

This week we are giving you the chance to claim a free True Stories of WWII DVD every day ..........................

Free on Monday, November 9 – The Dambusters
Free on Tuesday, November 10 – The Bridge on the River Kwai
    Free on Wednesday, November 11 – D-Day
Free on Thursday, November 12 – The Battle of Britain
Free on Friday, November 13 – The Great Escape

It would be VERY nice if I'm wrong

Thanks quoia for the update re the WWII DVDs in the Telegraph.

So yesterday's and todays were the only 'real' films then, so there are really 2 different promotions as mentioned here:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/promotions/

OH says he still wants the documentary DVDs this week anyway.
