I got behind with my payments to littlewoods credit card and they allowed me to pay a lower amount untill the balance is paid off, when I asked them for a copy of the agreement all they sent was a photocopy of their terms and conditions , They told me that because I'm paying a lower amount I cannot dispute the account, I also was not aware of any PPI on it untill recently and I am disputing that at the moment, my question is can I dispute the account on the basis of no credit agreement, I get so confused with money matters

Hi Babyellis
Yes you can certainly dispute the debt - the fact that you are paying reduced amounts means nothing. So have you sent the 'second' letter because they have not sent you a valid CCA?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
The 2nd letter is step 6, in this post - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=24040085&postcount=1Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Not sure, cancelling payments is usually (not always) a bad idea, but if they don't have a CCA then it should be okay. You might need to wait 30 days from the day they receive it. Im sure others can advise further on this thou.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
