Can't really say Sal..DD started her lessons individually when she was 8 or 9,and still really enjoyed it...I guess it depends on the teacher, whether she makes it feel like fun or a "lesson"...

Hahaha, I have been otherwise engaged!

Still just friends sadly, I live in hope but don't really envisage anything more. Eventually we will HAVE to become platonic for the friendship to survive, but I think it will be an uphill battle to come out of this in a happy way.

Got to try though.

He doesn't treat me like a cheap **** (insert word of choice here).

We go to nice places, we have long talks about random rubbish, we laugh, he is a gentleman, so considerate, he acts for all the world like he really cares about me.

And he is still being nice now, so it's not like he only bothers when he wants something.

But still, I don't think I am what he wants.

Well he is the one missing out then snags. I wonder what he really wants and if that is a pipe dream to put off living in reality. I mean if he hope to get something that he won't ever get then there is no risk of him getting hurt because everything else doesn't live up to it. I personally think you are everything that he ACTUALLY needs he just can't see it and what he has in his mind is worlds apart so that he can kid himself.

I don't mean that in a nasty way I just think he is very confused. He sounds lovely and a perfect gentleman in every other respect. Blooming men!

Thanks Sally - part of me thinks you are right. The other part thinks it's me that's living in cloud cuckoo land thinking that someone like him would want me. Grrrr......will NOT be negative! :cool:
