You get the 1000 points if you have a child older than 3months. If you are pregnant or have a baby under 3months you get a 'Mother and Baby' kit worth £9.99 WHEN you buy some baby nappies.

I signed up like a week ago or something for my mum as my baby bro is about 21 months, still waiting for stuff to arrive. If you check out FAQ's, it says:

I've signed up to Sainsbury’s Little Ones. When can I expect to receive my 1,000 Nectar points?



You must go into a store to credit the Nectar points to your card. It will take 48 hours for points to be updated. Please ensure you swipe your Nectar card at the time of redeeming the coupon you receive in your Welcome Pack. This is clearly highlighted on the actual coupon
