Just found this email in my Spam box on an email address (that does get a lot of Spam,) entitled Congratulations (My first name which is also in my email address) On Your New LG Washer & Dryer
I've searched on here and can't find any reference to the site. I don't go comping elswhere, but googled without any joy. Typing wwwGenonyx.com in the address bar just took me to an unsubscribe page with no links to any other pages
The American price made me wary, as did the fact I couldn't find anything on here.
Am I just an old cynic with a nasty suspicious mind, or have I really been visited by the good luck fairy?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Granny - I am not 100% sure but to me it looks like a scam. It says "you've qualified" for a free washer. It doesn't say won, which makes me suspicious. I have googled both company names and nothing shows up. I don't know what sort of scam it is, and how they gain, but if it were my email, I would delete it. If you have really won something, they will contact you again with some more details. Why is the price in Australian dollars and the company is based in Canada? I smell more than one rat I smell a whole cage full of themWe could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0

I agree - the "you've qualified" bit rings alarm bells with me.Thank you all who post.0

This is Free Lotto - went through the clicky. Strange thing is I keep getting winning emails from these guys (never entered!) and have to give them my credit card details to collect the winnings!!!!!!!!!
Gets deleted every time. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
:TThanks for your valued opinions fellow MSEers:T
Would have been a nice win, but hey- such spam is an occupational hazard of using the NET I suppose ?
Glad I have got a nasty suspicious mind and my radar wasn't off beam.
Here's hoping there's a great win around the corner for one of us...
:A Thanks again chaps & chapesses! :AWorse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0
